STAY- AT HOME MOM

Being a stay at home mom is definitely not easy and taking care of an active 4 month old with house chores to do makes it more difficult...I find myself juggling between nursing,diapers and cooking ...i dont even know how the day starts and ends.i eat during her naps, and i have cooking to finish before Jamil returns for lunch, Jenna wants to keep her entertained and if she sees me in the kitchen she screams bloody murder... i keep making goofy faces from the kitchen, no use... she cries to be held.. then i give her a bath and get her ready. By that time,Jamil is there. i hand over Jenna and rush for a bath, within ten minutes im out... oh i so miss the days when i used to sit in the tub for hours..., then again nap time... i have my lunch and sit in the computer, when i think okie lets lay down for sumtime,Jenna is up and ready to play.. later we go for a stroll in our locality and we r back to be joined by jamil..its dinner and by the time its ten ,im too tired..jenna is yet to sleep through the night but there r days she goes 4 to 5 hrs without getting up in between...i now realise the great help my mom nd dad had been .So do i seem like complaining..? nah!though im tired, i enjoy being a stay at home mom, there were times when i was so jobless and didnt know how to spend my time... now time flies..today when i was changing jenna s diaper,i was winking at her and she winked back after staring at me for a long time, i have heard infants at this stage mimick our expression but this is the first time she winked... oh i was sooo happy.... now who does not love getting to stay at home?

JENNA'S MILESTONES

it looks like yesterday i gave birth to her but she is already 4 and half months and is growing everyday.

1.she smiles at me and jamil and few other people like our friends raj nd viji who she sees every week. she takes time to smile at strangers.

2. can grasp the rattle and shake it.

3. rolls over from back to tummy... she is a pro

4. creeps with her body,she is yet to master this and start crawling..

5.she has found her toes and is constantly investigating them

6.enjoys nursery rhymes... she loves twinkle twinkle little star and this would calm her in minutes...

she is schduled for her four month check up tommorrow and she is going to have her shots... will update tommorrow about her checkup
