20 MONTH OLD

Jenna is now 20 months.. 4 more months until she turns 2.

She weighs around 24 pounds..

She can count from 1 to 10 and the alphabets A to Z(i'm working on putting up a video of her singing The alphabet song)

Her favourite songs are pat a cake,wheels of the bus and itsy bitsy spider and she tries singing them.

She just loves her My gym class and she has learnt a lot from the class.. she is doing head stand,forward roll(with my help,of course..).

She can say her name too..She started saying as Senna but now she says it perfectly.

She loves her baby doll and elmo and barney doll and will not step outside the house without either one of them in her arms.

She loves anything with cheese , noodles,pasta and ofcourse her new favourites are chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream .

She is in the stage where she puts up a lot of tantrums if things dont go her way but we are working on it by distracting her.

Bedtime is another issue,she does not want to go to bed and it takes me atleast half an hour to put her to bed..

I realize life is not easy with a toddler at home but i have no complains... i love being a mom and soon she will grow up and i will miss all these simple things umm maybe i wont miss the tantrums ; )

Its been more than a week since i posted becoz i was busy at my friend's place helping her out with her 3 kids since her hubby was out of town. Its been a great week especially for Jenna,she is having a great time playing with her kids.She loves playing catch with them and sometimes they fight for the same toy . Its been a chillax week for me too,i just had to take care of the kids but sometimes they drove me crazy when they all cry at the same time or fight for the same book... ( hats off to all those moms out there who have 3 + kids ).i got to read few books and that usually does not happen at my place since i got to do the cooking,cleaning and taking care of Jenna too..Iwill be going back home this weekend and i'm looking forward to sleep in my own bed : )Happy Weekend Guys!

BIRTHDAY PREPARATION STARTS

With only 6 weeks left for Jenna's birthday,im going crazy deciding upon which theme for the birthday?,who to invite,where to conduct the party...im jus going bonkers $&^##@... i thought this is easy ,i can do it..but i must say its a lot of tough work.. though Jenna wont remember her first birthday party,i want it to be a memorable one for all of us..When she grows up and looks at her birthday photos i dont want her to tell,''mom,u seriously did that theme for my first b'day..''Moreover only the first few birthday we can decide what to do,after that they decide...initially i thought i will do Glamourcat as theme bcoz she loves cat and can say cat too but somehow my bro nd hubby dont want it.. so thinking about princess or rubber ducky theme...soo confusing.Yet to decide what cake to buy,food,what to put inside the goodie bags.... OMG!I hope i decide soon..
